A Recipe For...
Herbal Healing Salve
Ingredients:
In a pan, heat the herbs and enough oil to cover them on a low heat. I suggest Hempseed oil if you can get it, because it is higher in
vitamins, minerals, proteins, and healthy fatty acids. Hempseed oil is, unfortunately, hard to procure in the United States. After the herbs
have been heated in the oil for long enough, they should release their medicinal chemicals into the oil. A good sign that they are done
steeping is that they start to turn brown. When this occurs, strain the herbs out of the oil. Then take small chunks of the wax, and put them
into the oil until there is about as much wax as there is oil in the mixture. You now have a salve! Keep the salve in an air tight container.
Because it is made with a fair ammount of beeswax, it will not spoil quickly, but keep it in an air tight container to keep it good as long as
possible.
